Miscarriage can be a devastating time in your life. Maybe you have recently lost your baby or maybe it was many years ago. Or maybe you have many babies in heaven, either way, it hurts deeply and I am so very sorry for your loss. My heart breaks along side yours and I wish I could give you a big hug right now and pray for you in person...but since I can't really do that, if you would like, please contact me here and I promise to pray for you by name.

I do not understand why God allows these things to happen. My younger sister and my mom both had two miscarriages. And my aunt and my grandma each had a baby that lived only one day. I also have a baby in heaven, but sadly it was through an abortion that I did not want to have. (Read more here...)

But whatever your story is, I want you to know that God sees your pain and deeply cares about you and wants to heal your heart.

 

I also believe that you will see your baby again in Heaven someday, just like I will see my siblings and nieces and nephews, and my daughter. And as hard as it is right now, I believe that God does not give us more than we can handle, even though it may not feel like that today. And He does promise to never leave us or forsake us. Jesus carries us through these terrible trials and right now I pray that you can feel His perfect peace coming over you as you read this page.

So please don’t give up hope... Jesus is with you and He loves you more than you can imagine. I also pray that your heart does not turn away from Him, but instead, that you grow close to Jesus during this very difficult time. Finally, I pray that God provides you with the right people to come along side you and that you can receive proper healing from the Lord.

Dear Heavenly Father,

 

Please send Your comfort to your children right now. They are hurting and need Your comfort, Lord. Please give them Your perfect peace in knowing that their precious one is in Heaven with You. Bless the love they have for one another and draw them closer together as they go through this very difficult time together. I pray that you will give them rest and peace tonight and help them through each day, one day at a time.  

 

During this time of mourning and loss of their baby, I ask You Holy Spirit to wrap them in Your loving arms and give them comfort. Give them joy in knowing their child is alive in Heaven today and that someday soon, they will meet him or her. Please can give them comfort in knowing that their child will never experience pain or trouble, because they know that their baby is with You.

 

Please help this family through their grief and be close to them now, Jesus. Thank you, Lord for hearing our prayer.
