PRAY FOR YOUR BABY

When I became pregnant with our first child, I began to pray for my baby that was growing inside of me. As soon as our son Micah arrived, I could see that God had answered my prayers. There is power in praying for your unborn child before he or she is born. God heard and answered my prayers, and I believe that He wants to do the same for you!

Or maybe you're still trying to conceive and are hoping to become a mom soon, well now is the time to start praying! And then again, maybe your baby is 17 years old now like mine is, or maybe even 57 years old. Well, I encourage you to start praying, no matter how old your children are!

I know there's a lot of crazy things going on in our world right now and you may find yourself fearful at times. But now is the time to put all of our trust in Jesus. He is sitting next to our Heavenly Father who sees everything that is going on. God is just waiting for us, His children, to put on our armor and to use the greatest weapon that He has given us to stand up against the enemy...PRAYER!

There is power in praying Scripture and in the name of Jesus! And because of the attacks on our children right now, we need to stand up against the enemy and cover our children in prayer more than ever before!

 

And remember, we need to prepare ourselves and our children for Jesus' return. The Bible says that NO one, except the Father, knows the day or the hour that Jesus will return, but we need to BE READY and doing what our Father has called us to do. (Read Matthew 24:36-51, 2 Peter 3:10, 1 Thessalonians 5:1-3). As Christ followers, we should also be great examples for our children to see how

to have a true relationship with the Lord Jesus and to show them how to share the hope that we have in our salvation through Jesus Christ with others.​

So, whatever your situation is, whether you are still trying to get pregnant or are waiting for your first little one to arrive or you are already a parent of littles, middles, teens or beyond, I encourage you to pray daily and stand firm on the Word of God and make sure you and your family are prepared for Jesus' return.​

​

Lastly, please pray for Israel. We are called to stand with Israel, and to bless them. Let's pray for the peace of Israel and ask God to protect and cover them in the wake of what is happening around the world today.
